Clubs are an essential element of life at St Nicholas’ School as they offer our pupils an opportunity to engage in exciting new challenges, or to develop existing areas of strength or interest.
Our intention to educate the whole child links closely to our extra curricular provision, and we encourage pupils to engage in the programme given the personal development that it can facilitate. We aim to provide a broad range of clubs to provide something of interest to all pupils, and these sessions also provide chances for children to develop their social skills by interacting with pupils of different ages in a context different to that of the classroom.
Our programme varies each term to extend this breadth, and each member of our teaching staff provide an after school activity to help to build strong relationships between staff and pupils. However, we also take advantage of our close links with our sister schools, allowing us to provide exciting opportunities for pupils to challenge themselves outside of School, and a number of activities enjoy specialist, professional coaching and input to provide the best experience possible, developing new skills in a safe, well-organised environment
