Parent Teacher Association
Education is a partnership and we require parental involvement through the Parent Teacher Association (Commonly referred to as the ‘Friends of St Nicholas).
The mission and focus of this group is for parents and teachers, who have a joint responsibility to work closely to develop the potential of their child’s intellectual, emotional and physical growth.
Parental membership and positive participation and support of the school is critical to meet that mission.
The Parent Association is the backbone of parental involvement in our school. It is an organisation devoted to building a strong school community here at St Nicholas School.
As a community, we enjoy united special days events, family celebrations, and cooking classes. The PTA organises these social events and fund raising activities as an informal and fun way to socialise, while raising funds for student benefit and use, and also for those in our community who are less fortunate.
The PTA provides invaluable support in organising events, social groups and gatherings for the School, our students and their parents and families.
Their hard working efforts help raise funds for the school, and provide some hugely enjoyable events too!
