After last week’s visit from Jo at the NSPCC, telling everyone about the ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ program, and then talked about online safety to our Year 5 & 6 pupils, on Monday 26th February she returned the collect the sponsorship money that we had raised from our Maths quizzes. The idea was simple: 10 multiplication questions – the more questions you got correct, the more money you raised.
After an incredible effort from all of our pupils, we managed to raise over £510 in the space of a week, a remarkable amount and testament to the fantastic strength of our community. We offer a very public thank you to anyone who contributed, but special mention should be reserved for Shaan K (Year 4) and Heer K (Year 1) who managed to raise over £200 between them!!
After last week’s assembly, the children at the School have a fantastic understanding of the work of the NSPCC, and are excited to be able to contribute in a small way. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved, and want to thank Jo for her time in talking to us.
